Goyard Core Collection: Bellechasse

The latest offering from La Maison Goyard, the Bellechasse. A re-release of an old design that was a custom order by a client who lived in the 7th arrondissement of Paris at rue Bellechasse. The purpose of which was to transport six bottles of wine from his cellar to his apartment. Measuring 29 cm height, 44 cm wide, 22 cm depth, it is available for $2200 for the classic colours and $2860 for the special ones.

Goyard Core Collection: Saint-Honoré Clutch

Back in 2008 La Maison Goyard released the Pochette Saint-Honoré in honour of the 180th birthday of its founder, François Goyard (1828-1890). Drawing its inspiration from an antique trunk, the evening bag measures 12" x 4.5" x 2.5". Currently the Gold and Silver is priced at $4715 while the other colours are $3625.

Goyard Core Collection: Vendôme

The Sac Vendôme is one of Goyard's most luxurious pieces for women. Named after the famous square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, it comes in petit and grande modèle (36cmx28x16 and 48cmx45x20, respectively). The interesting feature about this bag is that like the Saigon, it incorporates wooden pieces in its design; drawing inspiration from the steamer trunks that the House is known for.

The PM in classic finishes are currently priced for canvas at 2190 € and 2845 € for all other colours and has a leather bottom. An all leather version is available with only a hint of chevron canvas pattern on the sides for 5475 €. On the other hand The GM is 2300 € classic, 2990 € for other colours and 5750 € for the all leather. Take note that the leather versions only come in Black, Tan or White. The Vendôme comes with its own lock mainly for security but mostly as an accessory.

Goyard Core Collection: Grenadines

The latest addition in the Goyard Core Collection and the hobo bag that replaced the now discontinued Fidgi is the Grenadines. The leather part  is a welcome addition because it reinforces the canvas thereby preventing rips where the handles attach to the body of the bag. This was a perennial problem with the Fidji when it was overloaded. Also, leather patches were added to protect the bottom edges of the bag. Measuring 34 x 12 x 31cm, the price of the classic finishes are 1330 € and 1660 € for the special colours.

Goyard Core Collection: Voltaire

The Goyard Voltaire is the latest addition for the House's Core Collection. Initially released in a limited number with the grey jacquard that was priced at 1860 €, it is now available for 1220 € for the classic options, 1585 € for all other finishes. Measuring 40 x 12x 50cm, it is a perfect tote bag for the on-the-go person.

Goyard Core Collection: Hardy

The Hardy was originally designed to be a pet carrier as noted by the ventiliation holes that are on the side that says "Goyard Paris". It comes in two sizes Petit Modèle (15.7"x12.2"x6.7") and Grand Modèle (19.6"x15"x7.5"). Currently priced 1045 € for the classic tones (black/black T1, red T2, black/tan T3) and 1360 € for all others for the PM and 1545 € for the classic finishes, 2010 € for the others in the GM.

Goyard Core Collection: Tonga

The Tonga, part of Goyard's Core Collection pieces, is a small bag measuring 10" x 10" x 3" with a 9" drop for the handles. Zippered to secure one's belongings, it is the perfect piece for the daily essentials. The colour orange sets this petite sac as a Spring/Summer bag but can also be added as a punch of colour for the Autumn/Winter months. Currently the Tonga is out of stock at the Goyard Boutique in San Francisco. Priced at $1450, it will take 4 to 5 months to get your order. Goyard Core Collection: Belvedere

The Belvedere is part of Goyard's move to refresh its bag designs. It was released in the Winter of 2009-2010. A relatively small purse for daily essentials, it can be slung as a cross body bag. Priced at $1330 for classic colours, (Black/Black; Black/Tan and Red) it is currently available in the PM size only.

Goyard Core Collection: Marquises

The newest addition to come from Goyard is the Sac Marquises. Slated to be released this month, the zippered tote measures 31 x 40 x 17 cm or 12 x 16 x 7 inches. It is trimmed with Goyard's signature wooden slats that tooks its inspiration from the House's iconic trunks. Priced at classic tones (black/black, red, black/tan) 1150 €, and for all our other colors, 1495 €.

Goyard Core Collection: Marie Gallante

Part of Goyard's Core Collection is the "bucket" style structured tote, the Marie Gallante. Featuring a top zipper for the GM that secures the bag, it also has straps that can be adjusted for comfort as well as feet to protect the calf-skin bottom. An interior zippered pocket will safeguard valued items. Currently priced at $1850 for the GM and $1320 for the PM in classic colours (red, black with black trim, black with tan trim), expect to pay 25% more for the other colours.

Goyard Core Collection: Beluga

Boasting a unique handle, the Beluga is a mainstay of the House of Goyard. It comes in two sizes, GM (above) and PM (below). The interesting shape opens to a wide top allowing access to the deep recess of the bag. The Grand Modele with its seahorse motif was designed by Catherine Deneuve and auctioned off by Christie's Paris to benefit the Curie Institut back in 2008. The silver colour was released for one of Goyard's Spring collection.

Goyard Core Collection: Jersey

Another mainstay in the House of Goyard is the Jersey Tote. Available in all colours, this top handled bag is reminiscent of old steamer luggage pieces. Crafted out of chevron canvas, it is detailed with calfskin and comes in two sizes, GM & PM. Currently priced at $1955 for the Black/Black and Black/Tan GM and $1650 for the PM. Other colours are roughly $25% higher.

A staple of Goyard, the Saigon is a structured handheld purse equipped with wood trim reminiscent of the House's trunks and luggages. Secured by a leather flap that is belted down, it comes in all colours and in two sizes as shown. Prices range from $2500 -$3800.

Goyard Core Collection: Fidji

A classic hobo shape, the Fidji is a slightly smaller alternative to the Saint Louis. Sporting only a single leather strap, security is afforded by its zippered opening. The bag only comes in one size and is currently priced at $960 for the classic colours and $1250 for the special ones. As of 2010, the Fidji is currently being discontinued.
