Back in the Winter of 2008, the Maison Goyard in collaboration with 21 Female celebrities and personalities commissioned several of its pieces to be auctioned off to benefit theCurie Institute, a cancer research facility. The auction was entitled “Un bagage pour la vie, un bagage pour Curie“("A luggage for life, a luggage for Curie "). The auction was hosted by Christie's of Paris on November 17th of that year. Another staple of the Maison Goyard is the Comores Tote. Crafted out of the same canvas, it comes in all the colours that Goyard has to offer and measures 13" x 15" x 3". The handles and sides of the bag are in calfskin. Classic colours are retailed currently at $1680 and Special colours at $2185. There is an option for longer straps but that's an additional $400.
