For those of use who have been fans of Goyard for years, we all know that Black, Black with Gold Trim and Red were the classic colours. All the rest were special colours that were 25-30% more expensive and that goes for everything right now. (It used to be that the Saint Louis totes were the same price no matter what colour you chose).
Well, beginning September 1, 2014, Maison Goyard has decided that RED will be classified as a special colour, thereby increasing the price for them. So, if you are eyeing that special piece, roll out the RED carpet and head on over to your local boutique. You have exactly five days to do so.
And that would definitely make it a RED-letter-day!
Ah, so happy that I invested in my red St Louis at the beginning of the year!
