Monnaie de Paris released late last year a Taj Mahal Gold Coin set with 68 Cartier Diamonds and weighs 1kg. It was befittingly encased in a specially made Goyard Presentation Box with Goyardine Canvas with tan leather and wood trim. There were only 29 of these that were made and was valued at $140,000. The Goyard case alone was $7000.
The obverse features an intricate sculpted image of The Taj Mahal with the initials “RF” which stands for the Republic of France.
